The Meaning Behind the Ink: The Story

I’ve always wanted something meaningful that represents my Gummy (grandma). I went on the hunt for a note she left me, hoping to have her handwriting in what she always ended it with: “Love yas.”

I couldn’t find that note after years of hanging on to it, but I did come across a card she had filled out that stated, “We need some clouds in our life to make a beautiful sunset.” I’m not sure what was happening in life to make her write that, but the fact that she knew I’d have a beautiful sunset means so much to me.
