My control of breathing

Three years ago, I ended up in an ICU for over a month. Due to damage from previous COVID and catching RSV, I had damage done that was irreversible.
Now on oxygen, I have had to reset my life, and as I work through it, I want to add to my tattoos of flowers. As the saying goes, “stop and smell the roses,” but mine is: stop and embrace the beauty and peace around us.
I now know I embrace every breath.
