My dad passed from suicide
My dad passed from suicide after being sober for 12 years. He went through a break up, starting gambling, and then eventually drank. There were never any signs that he would end up passing that way. It happened fast, and destroyed our family pretty much, as sad as is it to write that. When I saw 988 was partnering with Silver Key, I wanted to get something to remember him by, and it was perfect timing.
The passing of my father was the week of the promo tattoos for the 988 event. I am so grateful and more at peace that you guys decided to participate in this event, and bring peace back into my life through ink. My heart is soothed, and I’m still torn, but thank you so much for making this event happen. I will be forever grateful for my little ghost Emi gave me. She did an AMAZING job!!!
