The Meaning Behind the Ink: The Story

I got this tattoo to honor the nickname I was given since my dad had left for deployment. I spent a lot of time with my dad’s side of the family, and my grandparents had—and still have—an incredible impact on my life and who I’ve become. This ladybug symbolizes the nickname “Taylibug” my grandparents gave me and my love for ladybugs. I fell in love with the traditional tattoo style a couple years ago, and since then have used that art to symbolize my most important moments—like this one.
